Article 1. (The purposes for the processing of Personal Information)
- 1. The Company collects, retains and uses personal information ("Personal Information") for the following purposes (the "Purpose"):
- ① To confirm user's intent to apply for a membership, identify and verify a member, manage membership system, prevent unlawful use of Oil talk, make any notification, etc.;
- ② To provide service, contents, personal authentication, etc.; and
- ③ To recognize user's complaints, give notice to user for any investigation, inform user of investigation results, etc.
- (The Company will implement necessary measures if the Purpose is changed, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.)
- 2. The Company will not use Personal Information for any other purpose. If the Company changes the Purpose, it will take necessary measures as required by the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 2. (Personal Information retention period)
- 1. The Company collects, retains and uses Personal Information only for the period of time that the user agreed to when user provided his or her Personal Information, or for the period which is granted by the applicable laws, whichever is longer (the "Period").
- 2. The Company may use:
- 1) Personal Information related to user's website membership registration until the longer of the following:
① The date on which user terminates his or her membership;
② The date on which the investigation is complete in the event that an investigation is in progress due to user's violation of applicable laws; or
③ The date on which all debts and liabilities of user arising from user's use of website, if any, are discharged - 2) Personal Information related to providing products or services, until the Company's duty to provide such products or services and the user's payment obligations have been satisfied, subject to the following exceptions:
①The Company may collect, retain or use Personal Information for the preservation of communication confirmation data under Article 15-2 of the Protection of Communications Secrets Act.

Article 3. (Provision of personal information to 3rd party)
- 1. The Company shall not use any personal information beyond the scope provided for in Article 1, and Company may disclose the specified information to a third party to comply with the scope provided in Article 17 and 18 on Privacy Policy and applicable laws
- 2. The publicity of a Member's e-mail address, phone number, etc. shall be decided by the member.
Article 4. (Commission for collected personal information)
- 1. The Company assigns certain tasks which require the use of Personal Information (the "Assigned Task") to a third party (the "Assignee") as following:

- ③ To delete certain Personal Information

- 2. The user may make such request set forth in Article 5.1. to the Company under the Article 8 of the attached documents in the Enforcement Rules to Personal Information Protection Act. The Company will respond to such request without delay. You can also view, correct, delete, or withdraw your consent at any time from the "Homepage" > "Member"
- 3. In the event that the user requests the Company to correct incorrect Personal Information or to delete his or her Personal Information, the Company will not use or provide such Personal Information until it completes such correction or deletion.
- 4. The user may designate a delegate to make request to the Company under Article 4.1 above; provided, however, that the user shall submit a power of attorney in accordance with Annex 11 of the Enforcement Rules to Personal Information Protection Act to the Company.
Article 6. (Types of Personal Information processed)
- 1. The Company collects and uses the following Personal Information:
- ① Registration for and management of membership - Required items: name, E-mail, telephone number (Mobile phone number), login ID, password - Optional items: whether user has agreed to receive E-mails and SMS
- ② QNA - Required items: name - Optional items: none
- ③ The following Personal Information can be automatically made and collected while useing the internet service - IP address(for connection log; user id, date), record of using service, visiting record, etc
- 2. The following are the disadvantages for refusing consent to collect or use personal information :
- ① The user may refuse to consent with the collection and use of personal information.
- ② The user may be limited from using the services provided by the Company if he or she does not provide written consent to the collection of personal information.
Article 7. (Destroying Personal Information)
- 1. In the event that Personal Information becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the Period or the accomplishment of the Purpose, the Company will destroy such Personal Information without delay
- 2. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event such Personal Information is required to be maintained under the applicable laws, the Company will transfer such Personal Information to a separate database (in the case of documents, to a separate cabinet).
- 3. The procedures and methods of destroying Personal Information are as follows:
- ① The Company will select Personal Information which is required to be destroyed and destroy such Personal Information upon the Privacy Officer's approval
- ② The Company will destroy Personal Information that is recorded and saved electronically in a way such that it cannot be restored. The Company will destroy Personal Information which is recorded or saved on physical material by grinding or incinerating such physical materials.
Article 8. (Security)
- 1. In order to prevent any loss, theft, leakage or falsification of Personal Information and to secure Personal Information, the Company shall:
- ① Establish an internal management plan for the protection of Personal Information and educate its employees regularly.
- ② Restrict access to the Personal Information usage system, Installation of Access Control System, Encryption of unique identification information, etc, Installing a security program.
- ③ Restrict access to the computer center or data storage area.
- 2. If Personal Information is infringed, the Company will notify the user of such infringement and make every reasonable effort to minimize damage.
Article 9. (The installation, operation, and rejection of an automatic personal information collection device)

(The head office and IT servers are located in Korea) Also, for users in the EU, Company's affiliates in Europe may become controllers and may transfer Personal Information to the Company which is located in South Korea, a country outside the EEA.
The affiliates in Europe have entered into the EU standard data protection clauses with the Company as required by the GDPR. Any such transferred Personal Information will be protected with appropriate and suitable safeguards and protection.
